Denna from the gorgeous book trilogy The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss, aka *Kvothe~
This might not be the best representation ever but itīs more like an experimental drawing which ended up as a fanart (due to the fact I'm re-reading the books and amazed once again). I wasn't focusing much on representating her face but the feeling around her; the mystery, the fact you cannot comprehend her well and yet you know she's constantly suffering. The flowers and the butterfly are a metaphor for the countless ephemeral relationships sheīs been in, and how she flies away from them too soon. "Sheīs cruel."
I loved playing with scrapbooking material and I wanted to do some more tests with it, and with some new 5.6 graffiti leads I just bought theyīre awesome. The title refers to the several names Denna uses along the story. I wonder which one is her real one. Though apparently it is Dianne, but I'm not sure of it
Thanks for looking!

I like that you did fanart of her, of course, but I hate her (as a character) with a passion. She's such a liar and she's going to be sooo much trouble.
Well done, though I have to say that it was the title that caught my eye.
I loved that line in the second book.
And of course I had to find this that I believe fits the picture:
"We stare at a fire because it flickers, because it glows. The light is what catches our eyes, but what makes a man lean close to a fire is the warmth you feel when you come near. The same was true of Denna.”
Of course, though what can we expect? We see what we want to see, and for Kvothe, he sees Denna as perfect. I feel for the guy, truly I do, and for that alone do I appreciate his description.
But, enough of that. Denna seems like she really is a good person, but has to hide by running away and avoid being hurt further. It shows when she eats the resin.
