:giggle:

O.o That's a lot of art supplies. The paper simply blows my mind. The markers do too ;P. I see you have great variety...Besides Copic, which brands would you say work really well? XD

Prismacolor and Towbow are very good, though I don´t have them (yet) but at my store we sell them so I´ve tried already. XD

besides that, I recommend Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen, and magic Color is cheap but very good too(but it´s a brazilian brand so I´m not sure you´ll have accesss to it). my Bismark markers were just bought so I can´t say yet how good they are.=p

Oh, Prismacolors! Those have a good reputation XD I think I'll get those if I want a cheaper alternative to copics then, since the online retailers only seem to have Towbow brush pens XDD

Haha, they do sell Magic Color online, though one would have to buy in bulk XD The one they don't seem to have are the Bismarks; when I googled them, I got stuff like, "Grave markers in Bismarck". DX

Hmm...But for the Faber Castell pens, I hear from a friend that the nibs wore out quickly. Did you have that problem too?

yeah.:XD:
Bismark is a brazilian brand, too:)they look like this: [link] they are about $20-25 here, but I got them for $15 at my store, luckily.:XD:

I don´t know since I got mine (the professional line) about a month ago. as of the student (cheaper) line, some of them wore out about a year after I bought them, and the rest are still working. which is ok for me, since they´re cheap:B

No wonder. Seems like Brazil has lots of good art supplies. XD

Oh, so there's two kinds. Smart of them to do that. : ) But regardless of endurance, does the professional line perform a lot better than the student?

:icongwendolyn12:
Gwendolyn12 Featured By Owner Jul 22, 2012  Professional Traditional Artist
it does! But it´s so expensive.:( Everything is so much cheaper in the USA...
indeed.:XD:
kind of, but it´s better to have both. The student line markers are better to cover larger areas (as they have thicker tips) and the professional line has brush-like tips so it´s better for more detailed artworks and lineart, inking, covering small areas etc.

To think we complain that out of country is cheaper...:XD:

Hmm...That sounds pretty nice, I guess. So the student has a chisel tip?
