Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. I need help.

Hi loves!:hug:

I need help right now... to be straightforward, my mom and I are getting through a lot of financial problems. I had to wait a long time for my documents to be able to look for work - they finally are done, so I´ll start looking tomorrow - but as I don´t even know when I´ll get a job, I need your help...

If you could could please, comission me, I´d be very grateful ;-; Even if I get a job soon, it´ll still take at least a month to get the money from it, and the next weeks will specially be hard for us due to the large ammount of debt we have to pay and soon:(

I know there´s not much I can do to help my mom out, but I still want to help her in every possible way - and this is the only option left by now to get money. I just can´t sit and see her suffer like that because she can´t manage to pay everything. It breaks my heart. ;_;

So please, if you can help me, I´d be forever grateful.:heart:

And if you ask me why I didn´t ask for help before, it´s because I didn´t know it would take so long for my documents to be done, I was unsure to ask for help...and I didn´t know our situation was so bad. my mom was trying to keep that away from me to not let me so worried....

By the way, if by any chance you´re interested in one of the pieces in my gallery and you want to buy the original...we can talk about that as well. I just can´t guarantee because, depending on the piece, some I just wouldn´t be able to sell.^^;
